I make a mean slip knot.
Oh and my chain stitch is enviable.
But when it comes to the evil single stitch or double stitch, I'm about ready to throw out some choice words.
Now, I shall try knitting. We'll see how that goes.

The Hobby that is a gift to others
March 27, I got an urge to learn how to knit and crochet. I spent hours watching youtube videos and bought the cutest yarn and hooks. (I think that's what they're called.) I learned the first two steps of crochet very easy.
I make a mean slip knot.
Oh and my chain stitch is enviable.
I had a girlfriend assist me in the double and single stitch. I was a failure at both. And I don't fail! Sure I'll be happy with a "C" or a D means diploma, but I don't fail. Crochet makes me a failure.
Now, I shall try knitting. We'll see how that goes.

I taught myself and I love it! Don't give up! It took me a month to get my first row of stitches down!
